A few words about me

In 2006 I moved to Scotland without knowing any English. I undertook an English course but not happy with my English after a year, I decided to go to university. I cried of happiness when I was told I could start the degree in Psychology from year 3 due to my Spanish degree. I completed my Honours degree with an A and plenty of congratulations from my tutors. I then decided to continue fulfilling my dream of becoming a psycotherapist. Before completing my MSc in Counselling I got a job in one of the organizations where I undertook my placement, a rape crisis centre working with complex trauma providing therapy for survivors of sexual violence. I haven’t stopped working and studying since.

My approach

The foundation of my work is person-centred therapy. I place great emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, the core conditions, and the belief that you are the expert in your own experience. I see these as the essential ingredients of meaningful and effective therapy, regardless of the specific approach or techniques used.

I am a warm, genuine, and relational therapist who values authentic connection. My aim is to help you feel safe, accepted, and deeply understood, so you can explore your concerns openly and reach insight that feels true and meaningful to you.

I offer long-term, in-depth counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, as well as more focused, short-term work with couples. However, the pace, depth, and number of sessions are always guided by you. I respect your journey and your autonomy, holding the view that my role is not to provide answers, but to support and empower you in discovering your own.

Qualifications

My passion about all aspects around the human mind and inner world is visible through my training since the beginning of my career to now. I am committed to understanding the human psyche and find the best ways to help each unique individual or couple to live a better life.

Experience and Background

I have extensive experience working with adults and young people with neurodivergence and complex trauma. My work is particularly grounded in supporting clients with histories of sexual trauma (including childhood sexual abuse, rape, and harassment), as well as neglect, abandonment, emotional abuse, early bereavement, bullying, dissociation (including DID), complex PTSD, attachment and identity difficulties, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and relationship challenges.

Neurodivergent-affirming practice is a core part of my work. I support clients with ADHD and other neurodivergent experiences in ways that honour difference rather than pathologise it. This includes working sensitively with emotional regulation, nervous system overwhelm, masking, shame, identity, and the impact of living in a world not designed for neurodivergent minds. Sessions are adapted to your needs, pace, and way of processing, with an emphasis on safety, clarity, and collaboration.

I also work with a wide range of concerns including grief and bereavement, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, anger, relationship difficulties, singlehood, separation and divorce, isolation, and life transitions.

In addition to my psychotherapy training, I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, specialising in Past Life Regression and Progression Therapy, which I integrate thoughtfully and ethically where appropriate and aligned with a client’s beliefs and therapeutic goals.

I hold a five-year degree in Pedagogy and am trained as an expert in education and training development. Alongside my clinical work, I practise as a clinical supervisor, supporting other counsellors and psychotherapists, and I am continuing to deepen my work in personal coaching, drawing on my therapeutic, educational, and relational background.
